The whole time I was pregnant I figured that I would have this baby just like everyone else...nope. 10 months of pregnancy and a emergency csection. Hold up you say!! Yep you heard right a csection. All those contractions started to put stress on Tenley so when her heart beat changed they throw on the oxygen mask and call my doctor. At that point I told Tucker what had happened and he said he need to go outside(which means he needs to smoke). He was so stressed out after seeing me with the mask on and the nurses basically freaking out. My doctor got there in about 15 mins. As soon as he came in the room he said well its time to have that baby. I went from freaked out to terrified. Once Dr. Burke told us I was wheeled out of the room and head to the OR. My mom was left behind getting on the gown, grabbing the computer telling Tucker what was going to be happening now. Oh it was a mess. I was so scared and all I wanted was my husbands hand.

Doesnt this look like fun!! I was so drugged I couldnt stop shaking even after it was over. I was in the recovery room for an hour shaking so bad it made my blood pressure drop to seriously low levels.

I have no idea if Tucker even saw all this but i know my mom was trying so hard to get him online in there. But we did get video an pictures.

Then our beautiful Tenley was born!!!
Her dad got to see her from the web cam before I saw her.
That really meant a lot to me.

This feeling of holding our daughter for the 1st time is the the most amazing feeling I have ever experienced. Its a love like no other.

So the weeks came and went and I was now 42 weeks pregnant...agh. I wanted to cry, pull my hair out, kill my doctor but most of all I just wanted Tenley to finally get here. If you felt bad for me then you should feel worse for the hubs. Poor guy couldn't even be home then every day he would get online to ask me "anything babe" "how are you feeling" "when is she going to come".

But there was a break in the clouds because 10Aug10 I was going to be induced!!! Finally!!

Ok if you laugh I will kill you cause I look like Im having twins haha

My amazing husband was with me the whole day from 0800 until birth. He really made me feel like I had him by my side. We had a good time talking, playing games, watched each other nap.. he was even there for the contractions haha I have an amazing man!

Well I got all hooked up to the monitors and whatever. This is a pic of our sweet baby girls heart and mine.

So the day was pretty crazy they where trying to get my body ready since it was going to happen on its own. I was givin a few kinds of things which didnt work. The Doctor had to break my water which hurt so bad I cant explain to you the feeling. From that point on the contractions got worse and then I decided maybe that hot bath would feel good. It did and I recommend it to every pregnant mom out there. However after about 40 mins I was in to much pain. My body still wasnt ready to have a baby and I couldnt stand anymore contractions so time for the feel good drugs!!! YAY

Have to say it was so hard to get one when my contractions where 1 min apart and they want you not to move haha I was like ok I wont me what the hell. After I got it I was in heavn!!!

A farewell to a fallen soldier.

June 8th Tucker lost a good friend an soldier SGT Erick Klusacek. Its hard when
any soldier loses there life over but its even harder when it hits so close to home.
They had a very nice ceremony (from what Tucker told me) and the rest of the troop is handling it the best they can. He was honored here in the states the way he should be. And is survived by his Wife Amber and daughter Mekella.

33 weeks has finally arrived. Its been easy other then my husband not being here to experience the weeks with me. Keeping him involved hasn't been the easiest task but I am doing my best. My heart breaks knowing how bad he wants to be home with me. He is a such a good man and I know if he was home he wouldn't miss one doctor appointment, would baby shop anytime I wanted him to, he would help me pick things for her room and the gear we want so I guess what I'm saying is I'm a lucky girl to have him.
Tenleys room is about done. I have been nesting a lot lately. I washed all her clothes, sheets, towels. folded everything a few times over lol. Her cradle is finish and in the room agh feels good to say that it wasn't a simple project. Just one very important thing missing... we need Daddy home.

We are officially down to 8 weeks left. The day I took these photos I was so upset. It had been almost 4 days that I didn't hear a word from Tucker. When 72 hours goes by in the deployment world it makes the wife at home start to get nervous. Now don't get me wrong I did NOT have a bad feeling anything was wrong with him. Just made me very uneasy. Anyways while I was trying to keep my mind off things I decided to play with the camera lol!!

This is just one way Tenley and I are capturing our love for Tucker aka Daddy while he is away!

Make Over! Fabric Style!

Tuckers mom gave us his Great Grandma Capps rocker for the nursery. It fit me well because I'm well short lol. The green just wasn't us. I found the perfect fabric in Salt Lake. I must say my mom is good she did about 85% of the work. Me about 15% ha ha. Tucker insisted we keep some of the wood showing. I wasn't to happy only because I wanted a more modern look. However now I love the wood, so good job babe! This wasn't an easy project by any means. I didn't think it would take as long either, but when your mom is a perfectionist (wonder where I get it Tucker). It takes longer. I have to say it was worth the time I love the chair and its going to look great in her nursery. I have a feeling Tucker and i will be spending many nights in this chair. So thanks moms. We love the family pass down.

Wow 29 weeks already!! Tucker and I where just talking about how fast the weeks are flying by. Its so nice that its is. I want my Tenley and Hubby home. We have 11 weeks till full term and Tucker should be home around then too. I cant wait to see him holding our little girl. I know it will be a moment I never forget.

Had a great Sunday up at Lumber jack Lodge at a 3D archery hunt. I know its Mothers day but My mom said "go Have fun". So dad and I did. 30 targets to hit ranging 10-50 yards. Nice weather even though it was cold during some parts of the hunt. I'm 28 weeks now so there where ares of the hunt that where difficult to hike. At one part I had to sit on my bum and slide down the hill so i wouldn't fall. (don't tell Tuck he may not like that lol). All in all a great day tired and so happy to be home off my feet. Sad part of the day I missed Tuckers call because there wasn't service where we were. He is so sweet to wish me Happy Mother's day. I don't look at my self as a mom yet, but the fact that he does is very sweet. I feel like the luckiest girl to have a husband like him. He is just so caring a always shows me he is thinking about me.

May 1st I love it. It means another month down and about 2 1/2 -3 months till Tenley and Tucker are here. This deployment seems so long but then another months goes by and I think YES getting closer. I feel so blessed to be able to talk to him as much as we do. Hearing his voice and seeing him online can really put a big smile on my face and heart. I'm really hoping May flys by fast to. I have a baby shower in SLC on the 15th and will spend almost a week there with my two sister, my mom, kayla and Robb so we should have some fun. Then up to Twin for another shower being thrown by Jan and Tuckers Aunt Holly. Its going to be fun but I wont know to many people there so interesting also. I just hope Tuckers month goes by fast too.

When I was in Salt Lake visiting my sister we went to the Quilted Bear!! We always go there to find way cute stuff and ideas. They also have the best sugar cookies there :) Well we saw these height chart boards and they where so cute but like $45.00. I wasn't going to pay that much for something I could make so Tiff an I went and got all the stuff to make one. It cost like $12.00!!! I have to say its one of my favorite things I have made yet.

So I kinda get obsessed with redoing things and making antiques look new. I know its easier to buy things new and place them in the house right away. Well for me I need projects and crafts to keep me busy and my mind of Tuckers deployment. So my Mom and I found this antique changing/baby dresser and decided to go for it. We sanded it all down then stained and stained and stained some more!! It took a lot of work and to stains mixed together to match the crib we got. But we gotter done!!

I didn't think my 27th birthday would be all that great just another day, no big deal. Kinda felt that way cause Tucker isn't home. But when my morning started out with a Happy Birthday from my hubby it started looking up.

My Mom took me to lunch and we did some baby shopping and hit a couple antique stores. It was good then my cell rang and a weird number!!! It was my awesome hubs! I wasnt expecting a phone call. we usually talk online. He said " what you didn't think I would call you on your birthday?" After about 10 mins we got off and he got online we talked for like 3 hours no joke. He made my day. Until the door rang and there where these beautiful roses being delivered for me!!! I have to say after I got those flowers from him I was on cloud nine. I felt so special and loved. I feel in love with my husband all over again...no joke butterflies in my tummy and all. Wait where those butterflies really Tenley?? haha jk It was a great day!!

Ok so if you know anything about me you know Im very close to my big sister. I miss her all the time and when we get together we have the best time. I got to spend a whole week with her wish it had been longer but I knew I would be back next month!!!

After lookin at a lot of cribs and I do mean a lot of cribs I picked it! Funny part is I looked at this crib in December when Tucker and I where therefor Christmas visit. Now I was wonting a white crib but got vetoed my the hubs. He said NO WHITE. and NO DARK DARK wood. So when I picked this wood color I was worried he wouldnt like it....but He said "I love the crib babe"!!! Phew!. His imput means a lot to me and I try very hard to keep him in the loop about what we are doing with her room.

Kayla is a big help when picking out fabric to redo a nursery chair in. When you get to that point where you want to pull out your hair cause you have to many choices she will make you smile and give ya kisses!! So when going shopping bring your Kayla!!

So happy we found the perfect fabric!!!

I took alittle road trip to good old Twin Falls!! I thought it was time I went and saw our dog and Tuckers family. We had a great time. Did some baby shopping, ate some yummy food that only Twin has and just hung out. It was hard being there without Tucker. Makes me feel like a big piece of me is missing. My wonderful strong heroic husband left for Afghanistan this last Sunday. He will be very busy over there. He is a Staff Sargent and is in control of quite a few men. I hate that he is there but know that with him there his guys will be very taken care of. Its hard to give your love to your country sometimes. I know that what he does keeps us all safe here but I hate that he is in harms way everyday. Lucky we know that he will be home for r&r in so I hope August comes fast. I will be busy thanks goodness!! Being pregnant while he is gone is like a blessing and sadness at the same time. I know being pregnant I will be planning, shopping, decorating and nesting lol. But its sad knowing my husband wont be home to help and be at the doctor appointments. We are a very strong couple so I know it will be fine. Here are a few pictures from the night he deployed.

My Life Wears Camo and Army Boots

My life wears camo and combat boots, he bravely walks away to board a plane to a far away land. He tells me he loves me and we will talk soon.
My life does 8 mile road marches and sends me a message to tell me he is thinking of me and asks how my day is going. My life is a soldier fighting for our country.
The reason my heart is beating is thousands of miles away, it will be months before I feel his touch. He is my best friend, my lover, my man, my hero and my soldier.
I wait for his calls, emails anything for the chance to tell him one more time that I love him. I remain positive, I save my tears for when I am alone. I hide my fear and I remain strong for him.
I will wait until the end of time to be in his arms again. This is the life I have chosen, the life of the unknown. A life full of true love and happiness. For happiness will be to be in his arms again. To be able to touch his face, to be able to kiss him, to be able to look into his eyes again. To hear his laugh and to fall asleep in his arms.

My sweet Cousin

Last night our family received very sad news my cousin Christopher Andrews had past away. He was 31 years old and has had severe heart problems since birth. At age 5 he had a pace maker put in. He had a complication about a year and a half ago but things didn't get better and he need a surgery. Hes poor heart just couldn't take it anymore and he past away. He is no longest in pain, will no longer have to take meds or see doctors. He gets to met our Lord and see our amazing Grandparents. He is survived by his wonder wife and two little boys. There just isn't enough words to express the pain we all are feeling. You are and will always be loved we miss you.

Ok I have been in Clarksville for about 3 weeks now and I have been activly looking for a job for 2 weeks. there is nothing here and when I say nothing I mean not even the papers have postings, staffing adgencys have no openings I call everywhere to ask if there is anything. NO ONE IN THE PLACE IS HIRING. Tucker is up in Vermont at a Army mountain trainging school I cant talk to him cause there isnt service. I feel 100% allown and am doughting living here while he is gone to Afganistan. I love my life but this week is really taking its toll on me and could really use a sign from God on what to do. ugh

So 10 years is just to love for family to go with out seeing each other. Don't you think? The lest time I saw my cousin Christopher I was 15!! wow that seems like forever. Chris was coming to SLC on business so we had to get together. We had a great time at Rodizios Grill (brazilian food is amazing). We laughed, joked, caught up and just had a great time. It was really good to see him.

Yesterday I had a flat tire on the interstate. So I eased my car over to
the shoulder of the road, carefully got out of the car and opened the trunk.
I took out 2 cardboard men, unfolded them and stood them at the rear of my
car facing oncoming traffic. They look so lifelike you wouldn't believe! They are
in trench coats, exposing their nude bodies and private parts to the
approaching drivers.
I started to change my tire, and to my surprise, cars started slowing down
looking at my lifelike men. And of course, traffic started backing up.
Everybody was tooting their horns and waving like crazy. It wasn't long before a
state trooper pulled up behind me.
He got out of his car and started walking towards me. I could tell he was
not a happy camper!
"What's going on here?"
"My car has a flat tire," I said calmly.
"Well, what the hell are those obscene cardboard men doing here by the
road?"
I couldn't believe that he didn't know. So I told him,
"Hello-o-o-o-o-o,
those are my emergency flashers!"

I stayed up till midnight watching and just could turn if off (its going to be a long day at the office). It’s so interesting to watch a family with multiples. Dear Malia and Sasha,

I know that you've both had a lot of fun these last two years on the campaign trail, going to picnics and parades and state fairs, eating all sorts of junk food your mother and I probably shouldn't have let you have. But I also know that it hasn't always been easy for you and Mom, and that as excited as you both are about that new puppy, it doesn't make up for all the time we've been apart. I know how much I've missed these past two years, and today I want to tell you a little more about why I decided to take our family on this journey.

When I was a young man, I thought life was all about me-about how I'd make my way in the world, become successful, and get the things I want. But then the two of you came into my world with all your curiosity and mischief and those smiles that never fail to fill my heart and light up my day. And suddenly, all my big plans for myself didn't seem so important anymore. I soon found that the greatest joy in my life was the joy I saw in yours. And I realized that my own life wouldn't count for much unless I was able to ensure that you had every opportunity for happiness and fulfillment in yours. In the end, girls, that's why I ran for President: because of what I want for you and for every child in this nation.

I want all our children to go to schools worthy of their potential-schools that challenge them, inspire them, and instill in them a sense of wonder about the world around them. I want them to have the chance to go to college-even if their parents aren't rich. And I want them to get good jobs: jobs that pay well and give them benefits like health care, jobs that let them spend time with their own kids and retire with dignity.

I want us to push the boundaries of discovery so that you'll live to see new technologies and inventions that improve our lives and make our planet cleaner and safer. And I want us to push our own human boundaries to reach beyond the divides of race and region, gender and religion that keep us from seeing the best in each other.

Sometimes we have to send our young men and women into war and other dangerous situations to protect our country-but when we do, I want to make sure that it is only for a very good reason, that we try our best to settle our differences with others peacefully, and that we do everything possible to keep our servicemen and women safe. And I want every child to understand that the blessings these brave Americans fight for are not free-that with the great privilege of being a citizen of this nation comes great responsibility.
That was the lesson your grandmother tried to teach me when I was your age, reading me the opening lines of the Declaration of Independence and telling me about the men and women who marched for equality because they believed those words put to paper two centuries ago should mean something.

She helped me understand that America is great not because it is perfect but because it can always be made better-and that the unfinished work of perfecting our union falls to each of us. It's a charge we pass on to our children, coming closer with each new generation to what we know America should be.

I hope both of you will take up that work, righting the wrongs that you see and working to give others the chances you've had. Not just because you have an obligation to give something back to this country that has given our family so much-although you do have that obligation. But because you have an obligation to yourself. Because it is only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you will realize your true potential.

These are the things I want for you-to grow up in a world with no limits on your dreams and no achievements beyond your reach, and to grow into compassionate, committed women who will help build that world. And I want every child to have the same chances to learn and dream and grow and thrive that you girls have. That's why I've taken our family on this great adventure.

I am so proud of both of you. I love you more than you can ever know. And I am grateful every day for your patience, poise, grace, and humor as we prepare to start our new life together in the White House.

So last night while watching American Ideal I decided to pull out my scrap booking stuff an make a 2009 Calendar!!
I'm kinda cheap and I don't like to waste money on things I can make.
Not only that but I happen to think it might be more cute then a store bought calendar anyways.

Wall Decaling...

OK so adding decals to the wall is easy however I got so excited

about my little project I didn't pay any attention to
the sequence of the saying.... dumb
it should say:
Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much.
so at this moment I am laughing a lot

The kitchen went a lot easier!!

I love this last name decal that was made for us.

Father's Day

I was so glad that may parents got to come down for fathers day!! We had such a good time together. Father’s Day morning I woke up really early and so did my dad so we got to have a cup of Joe together out on the deck. My dad means the world to me I look up to him, he truly is my role model. He is also a great guitarists I love listening to him play!

For fathers day we got my dad a digital picture frame and loaded a ton of pictures including pictures of my dads parents. It was a great gift he loved it and was very surprised.

Well I just turned 25!! Wow can I really be? I have to say it was a great birthday. My sister Tiffany surprised me with a birthday spa and resort weekend up in Coeur D'Alene Idaho. I know what your think Coeur D'Alane? But it was a 5 star resort I had the bast message ever, the food it amazing the view breath taking. Happy B-Day to me!
